The State Forestry Commission has lifted the burn ban The Wiregrass. On Friday state officials lifted the burn ban for 33 southern counties in Alabama with those counties now under a “Fire Alert”. The change is due to the recent rainfall in the area. Burn permits can now be issued in some counties.
