An Alabama death row inmate has been executed by lethal injection. 49-year-old Casey McWhorter was convicted of killing a man during a robbery in 1993. His attorney brought a motion for a stay due to McWhorter’s age at the time of the crime that was denied. He’s the second inmate executed in the state this year.
