The state could seek the death penalty for a Dothan woman accused of putting her newborn baby in a trash compactor. Attorneys for 18-year-old Jakayla Williams claim she needs to be bonded out of jail to receive mental health treatment. State prosecutors say Williams is mentally competent and is a danger to all children.
