Over 300,000 visitors are expected at this year’s National Peanut Festival that kicks off today. Gates open at 4pm, with $10 general admission ticket and $30 carnival ride armbands. There will be a ribbon cutting at 6pm at the main gate and a parade will follow inside the fairgrounds. Credit and debit cards are accepted but using cash will save you the service fees.
