A Henry County couple are behind bars this morning after sheriff’s deputies finds the body of their 19-year-old son on their property Sunday. Michael and Karen Halstead were arrested on Abuse of a Corpse charges after a decomposing body, believed to be their son Logan, was found in a freezer in the couple’s back yard. An autopsy will be performed to positively I-D the body and the cause of death.
