The Ozark City Council has voted 3-2 to censure mayor Blankenship following his remarks over the summer about possibly defunding the library if certain books weren’t removed from the library. A petition for the censure garnered about 100 signatures with citizens accusing the mayor of intimidation and harassment. The censure does not affect the mayors ability to govern.
