The mayor of Dothan is proclaiming next week “Fire Prevention Week” in the city. This year’s theme is “Cooking Safety Starts with You” with officials saying most fires in homes start in the kitchen. Next week firefighters will be going to area schools to talk to students about fire exit drills inside the home.
