Safe Haven baby boxes have been approved By the City of Dothan to be installed at fire stations. Ther nonprofit Kids To Love has awarded an $18,000 grant for three baby boxes outfitted with heat and a/c and a sensor that will notify dispatch if a baby is placed inside. A new law in Alabama allows mothers to surrender their infant child anonymously.
