In day two of the murder for hire trial for brothers Darrin and Jason Starr, the jury heard testimony from a friend of victim Sara Starr. The friend said Sara was afraid of her husband before they’re divorce saying “He’s going to kill me”. Financial records revealed Jason paid his brother $2,600 in late 2017.
