It will be business as usual today following a lockdown Thursday at the Elba Elementary and High School campuses. Authorities say around 10 am a text message was sent to a suicide hotline saying a 70-year-old man was going to shoot students. No person or weapon was ever found, and investigators are working to find out where the message came from.
