The Alabama Department of Transportation has announced there will be no construction on interstate highways during the upcoming Labor Day Holiday weekend. On Monday, the Department released a statement saying there will be no temporary lane closures on Alabama interstates from 12 p.m. Friday, September 1st, through midnight, Monday, September 4th.
