Houston County Commissioners approved $50,000 for overtime pay at the county jail. The money will be used to pay for two armed guards to be with the mobile kitchen unit where inmates work. The mobile kitchen should be in place for about 8 more weeks while renovations are done to the jail kitchen. The jail had asked for $70,000 for security.
