The new head of the Houston County EMA officially takes over today. Former Dothan Fire Captain Mark Powell was offered and accepted the position last month. He previously served the city of Dothan for 20 years in the fire department. Former EMA director Chris Judah resigned after two of his empl0oyees were arrested for computer crimes.
