Gas prices are starting to level off after several weeks of increases. AAA mid Atlantic has the Alabama state wide average at $3.42 per gallon, down 3 cents from a week ago but 35 cents more than a month ago. Dothan’s average also dropped by 3 cents this week to $3.44 per gallon. The national average is at $3.82 per gallon.
