Gas prices are surging as we wrap up July. Triple-a has the Alabama statewide average at 3-29 per gallon, up 14 cents from last week. Dothan’s average jumped 15 cents this week to 3-34 per gallon. Analysts blame rising crude oil prices and heavy summer demand for the jump at the pump.
