A Wiregrass woman is in critical condition and a man from Level Plains is charged with attempted murder following a shooting this week. The Dale County Sheriff’s department believe Willie Biggham Jr. shot the woman multiple times in the head on Sunday. He is being held without bond; the woman was flown to a hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
