Opp Police are warning of a home rental scam that already cost one person $500. Authorities say after the victim sent the money for a deposit through Cash App she discovered the person didn’t own the home and the listing on Facebook was taken down. Authorities say if you are concerned of a possible scam to notify local law enforcement so they can investigate.
