Statewide Savings are coming for back-to-school shoppers in Alabama. The state’s seventh 7th annual sales tax holiday runs today through Sunday. Alabama’s 4 percent sales tax will be excluded on a variety of clothing, laptops and other back to school supplies. Some cities and counties are also cutting their local taxes to make the savings bigger.
