Commissioners in Dothan will vote this week on purchasing land to build a new city hall. The proposal that will be voted on Tuesday would have the city pay the county $2 million for the parking lot on Oates Street across from the courthouse to build on and a nearby property to make up the lost parking spaces. If the city approves the deal this week, the county should vote on the agreement by the end of the month.
