DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Brooms, costumes and plenty of “witchy” fun will soon return to the streets of Dothan as registration opens for the 2026 Dothan Witches Ride.
Organizers announced that women and girls of all ages can now register to participate in the annual October parade.
The event brings participants together for a festive ride through Dothan, with riders dressing in witch-themed costumes and decorating for the occasion.
“The happiest day in October is about to take over the streets,” organizers said in announcing registration.
Participants are encouraged to gather their friends, plan their costumes and get ready to join the parade.
“Grab your spot, dust off that broom, rally your crew,” organizers said. “Let’s flood the parade with sparkle, joy, and full-on witchy energy.”
The Witches Ride has become a colorful October tradition, giving participants a chance to get creative with their costumes while joining others for a community celebration.
Those who want to participate should register ahead of the event to secure their place in the ride.
“Don’t just hear about it later, be in it,” organizers said.
Registration for the 2026 Dothan Witches Ride is now open online.
