ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — Enterprise Rescue is launching its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign with a new T-shirt fundraiser benefiting breast cancer research in Alabama.
According to Enterprise Rescue, the pink shirts are available in all sizes for $25, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
Orders must be placed by Saturday, Sept. 12. Shirts are expected to be available for pickup in early October.
The campaign marks a change from last year, when Enterprise Rescue raised more than $1,600 for the Coffee County Family Services Center.
“Each year we try and do our part to recognize and support Breast Cancer Awareness with this small gesture, but one that our local citizens take part in and look forward to,” Chief Operations Officer Arnold Woodham said. “Given our footprint and coverage area now extends well past the Wiregrass, our goal was to identify a partner on the state level that we can support and give back to, and we’ve done just that with the folks from BCRFA, who quickly welcomed our partnership together.”
According to BCRFA, the nonprofit was founded in 1996 and funds breast cancer research across Alabama. The organization says it has invested more than $17 million in research since its founding, including $1.2 million awarded to research partners in December 2025.
Enterprise Rescue provides ambulance, wheelchair van and air medical services across portions of South Alabama. The organization traces its roots to a volunteer rescue service formed in 1963.
Shirts can be ordered through Enterprise Rescue’s campaign through Sept. 12.
