DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Landmark Park is bringing back its annual Low Country Boil in September, giving the Wiregrass community a chance to enjoy dinner while supporting one of Dothan’s local attractions.
The fundraiser will be held Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. at Landmark Park.
Landmark Park is a nonprofit organization, and 100% of the proceeds from the Low Country Boil will go directly back to the park. Money raised helps preserve the grounds and historic spaces, support educational programs and community events, and provide activities for families throughout the Wiregrass.
The traditional Low Country Boil will feature shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes simmered together with a signature blend of spices in a 60-gallon kettle.
Individual admission is $60.
Guests can also reserve a table for eight for $600. Reserved tables allow groups of friends, family members, coworkers or clients to sit together for the evening.
