DOTHAN, Ala. — A 29-year-old Dothan woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle early Friday morning on Ross Clark Circle.
According to the Dothan Police Department, officers responded just after 4 a.m. on July 17 to the 600 block of Ross Clark Circle following a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
Police identified the victim as Quinteria Reaves, 29, of Dothan. Investigators said Reaves was crossing Ross Clark Circle when she was struck by a passing vehicle.
Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, Reaves was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dothan Police Department’s CRASH Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of Ms. Reaves as they go through this difficult time,” the department said in a statement.
