DOTHAN, Ala. — A New Brockton man was killed Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle on Alabama Highway 51 in Coffee County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash happened at approximately 8:42 p.m. on July 12 near the 5-mile marker, about four miles north of Enterprise.
Troopers said 59-year-old Hozea Head Jr. of New Brockton was in the roadway when he was struck by a 2017 Kia Forte driven by 62-year- old woman from Enterprise.
Head was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division. No additional information has been released.
