WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WDNews) — According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, a 75-year-old DeFuniak Springs man has been arrested after investigators received a report that he was recorded on a home security camera engaging in sexual acts with a family dog.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a witness went to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office after reportedly seeing the acts on the home’s camera system. Investigators said the witness had brought the outdoor camera inside to charge Tuesday morning and later received a motion notification after leaving the home.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the witness observed Gary Lee Denison “nude from the waist down, having sex with the female dog while seated in a recliner inside the home.”
Investigators said that while the witness was at the Sheriff’s Office, another motion notification was received, allowing the witness to again show Denison allegedly engaging in sexual acts with the animal.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies and the Office of the City Marshal of DeFuniak Springs Police responded to Denison’s home on Twin Lakes Drive, where he was taken into custody.
Authorities said the dog was transported to the Walton County Animal Shelter for a medical evaluation.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Denison is charged with two counts of sexual contact with an animal. He was booked into the Walton County Jail, where he is awaiting his first court appearance.
