ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — According to the Enterprise Police Department, community members can help local students prepare for the new school year by donating school supplies throughout the month of July.
The department’s Back-to-School Supply Drive runs from July 1 through July 31, with donation drop-off locations at the Enterprise Police Department and Enterprise City Hall, located at 501 S. Main St.
According to the announcement, requested school supplies include:
24-count Crayola crayons
Colored pencils
Markers
Glue sticks
Fiskars or Crayola scissors
Large and small plastic pencil boxes
Zipper pencil pouches with holes
Pencils
Large erasers
Dry-erase markers
Highlighters
Wide-ruled, non-perforated composition notebooks
Plastic pocket folders with prongs
Primary journals (K-2)
One-inch and two-inch binders with a clear front pocket
Earbuds or headphones
Five-tab dividers with pockets
Wide-ruled notebook paper
According to the Enterprise Police Department, donations will help provide local students with the school supplies they need for the upcoming school year.
