DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Dothan City Schools is inviting community members to explore career opportunities during a Job Fair scheduled for Monday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dothan Board of Education, located at 1665 Honeysuckle Road.
The event is open to the public and will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about Dothan City Schools, meet representatives from schools and departments across the district, and receive information about available positions. District representatives will also be available to answer questions and assist individuals interested in applying for jobs.
According to Dothan City Schools, positions that may be available include classroom teachers, special education teachers, aides, tutors, bus drivers, food service employees and custodians.
School officials said some fully certified positions may qualify for hiring incentives of up to $3,000.
The job fair is designed to connect prospective employees with opportunities across the district while highlighting the programs and services offered by Dothan City Schools.
