ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — The City of Enterprise has announced its holiday schedule and traffic advisories ahead of Juneteenth celebrations later this month.
In observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday, all City of Enterprise offices will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026. Garbage collection will not take place that day.
Residents whose garbage is normally collected on Fridays are asked to place their containers out on Thursday, June 18, as the Friday route will be collected one day early. No other garbage collection routes will be affected.
The city is also advising residents and visitors of temporary traffic impacts related to the annual Juneteenth Parade hosted by Johns Chapel AME Church on Saturday, June 13, in downtown Enterprise.
The parade will begin at noon at 303 N. Main Street and conclude at 306 S. Main Street. A portion of Main Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 11 a.m. and is expected to reopen by approximately 1:30 p.m.
City officials said “No Parking” signs will be placed along the parade route on Friday, June 12. Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted restrictions to help ensure a safe event and efficient traffic flow.

The lot behind the former Yancey Parker’s building on Easy Street
The lot adjacent to the Coffee County Courthouse on Edwards Street
The First Methodist Church parking lot on Grubbs Street
Street parking on College Street and Railroad Street
The Enterprise City Council approved the street closure request during its Sept. 16, 2025, meeting.
