DOTHAN, Ala. — Wiregrass Angel House has received a $10,112.20 donation from the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and its supporters.
The Punishers are a law enforcement motorcycle club made up of active and retired law enforcement officers from communities across the Wiregrass region. The club has been a longtime supporter of Wiregrass Angel House through fundraising events and community involvement.
According to Wiregrass Angel House, this year’s donation was raised during the sixth annual fundraiser benefiting the organization.
Wiregrass Angel House Director Shelly Linderman said the club’s fundraising efforts play an important role in supporting services offered to local families.
“The fundraising by them is instrumental in funding some of our programs we offer to the community, without it the programs would not exist”. Linderman said.
In addition to financial support, Linderman said members of the Punishers also assist with Journey to the North Pole, a program that helps provide Christmas experiences for children in the Angel House community.
“We are grateful for their generosity, partnership, and commitment to making a difference throughout the Wiregrass”.
The organization also thanks everyone who contributed to the fundraiser and helped make the donation possible.
