DOTHAN, Ala. — Dothan Police were on scene Thursday at the Circle K in the 300 block of Ross Clark Circle following reports of a firearm-related incident.
According to multiple witness accounts, an unconfirmed juvenile suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while inside a vehicle with others present. Witnesses alleged the wound may have been self-inflicted, possibly accidental, that information has not been confirmed by authorities.
Witnesses also reported the injured male was transported by private vehicle to Southeast Health for treatment, where a small police presence was seen.
