ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — The City of Enterprise has announced a temporary closure of West Lee Street in the downtown area beginning today.
The section from Mack Street to Pine Street will be closed for about two weeks while the Public Works Street Division makes repairs. Crews will remove broken and raised concrete damaged by tree roots and replace it with new pavement.
The roadway will be closed to thru traffic, with access limited to local residents. Detour signs have been placed, and drivers are encouraged to use College Street and Adams Street as alternate routes.
