DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – The Jon Reep: Popsicle Tour show scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Dothan Opera House has been canceled.
The cancellation comes after comedian Jon Reep, 53, was arrested Friday, September 5, on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor. According to a press release from the Hickory Police Department in North Carolina, Reep was indicted September 2 by a Catawba County grand jury on one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and nine counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators said the charges stem from a cyber tip that led police to Reep. “Electronic devices were seized during the execution of the search warrant and digital forensic analysis of these devices and other online communications were completed,” the department said in the release.
Reep is best known as the winner of season five of Last Comic Standing.
