ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — The Wiregrass’s tastiest competition is back as the 15th annual Food Truck Face-Off rolls into Enterprise on Friday, Sept. 12.
Hosted by Mitchell Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, the event kicks off at 5 p.m. and will feature popular food trucks, live music, and family activities, all while raising money for the SOS Animal Shelter.
Food trucks will compete for three titles: “The Ultimate Food Truck Champion,” judged on taste, creativity, and presentation; “Camera Eats First,” recognizing the most Instagram-worthy dish; and “Irresistible Curb Appeal,” honoring the truck with the best design. A panel of local celebrity judges will decide the winners.
This year’s lineup includes A&B’s Hit N Run, Akilli’s Lunchbox, Cubano’s On The Go, Grit in My Belly, Lytle Bay Meat Co., Naan Stop Döner, Old Hooks Food Coach, Grit + Grind Enterprise, The Purple Penguin, and Dixieland Kettle Corn. DJ Joe Love will provide entertainment, and lawn games will be available for families. First responders on duty will be allowed to move to the front of food truck lines.
Ten percent of all sales will go to the SOS Animal Shelter, with Mitchell CDJR matching donations. Since its start, the event has raised more than $10,000 for the shelter.
Judges for the 2025 face-off include Chelsea Gieselmann, Alabama chef and food influencer; Dennis Chastang, owner of The Craft Bar and Grill and The Social on Main; Eddie Byrd, marketing director at Murphy Family Restaurants; and Sonya Wheeler Rich, Enterprise City Council member.
