Dothan, Ala. (WDNews) – Kenneth C. Glasgow, 60, of Dothan was arrested on August 5 after authorities say he filed a legal motion without a license to practice law.
According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Glasgow submitted a Motion for Preliminary and Permanent Injunction to the Houston County Clerk’s Office on August 4. After reviewing the filing, investigators determined the motion and its contents were actions that must be performed by a licensed attorney.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division obtained an arrest warrant the following day. Glasgow was taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Practice of Law under Alabama Code 34-3-1.
He was booked into the Houston County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
