Dothan City Schools are reminding families to mark their calendars for open house events set to begin next week.
Open houses will kick off on Tuesday, July 30, and continue into early August. Each school across the district has assigned times based on grade level or student last name, with sessions scheduled in both the morning and afternoon to help families plan.
Elementary and intermediate school open houses start July 30, followed by Dothan High School, Dothan City Virtual School, and Carver 9th Grade Academy on July 31. Dothan Prep Academy and Dothan 6th Grade Center will hold their events on August 4. The Dothan City Early Education Center will also host sessions that day, with teachers reaching out to schedule specific times for parents.

School officials encourage all parents and guardians to attend their assigned open house to meet teachers, gather class information, and help their students feel confident heading into the 2025–2026 school year.
