A $250,000 grant from the state is helping to bring more jobs to The Wiregrass. Kansas based Sunbelt Solomon is investing $5 million to renovate a building in Elba that will recycle electrical transformers. The company plans to hire about 50 people for the new location, which should be operational by September.
