SLOCOMB, Ala. (WDNews) — Slocomb Middle School is alerting parents and drivers about a new traffic pattern for afternoon student pickup.
According to Slocomb Middle School and the City of Slocomb, the new traffic pattern will begin Thursday, Sept. 24.
The school released a map showing drivers should enter from Railroad Avenue and follow the marked route around the athletic fields before continuing toward the school pickup area.
The map also shows traffic should not enter the pickup route from the Red Top Lane and South County Road 9 area.
Parents and others picking up students are encouraged to review the new route before Thursday and follow the posted traffic directions during afternoon dismissal.
