DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Porter Park is inviting the community to come together Saturday morning, Oct. 3, for the Walk With 5 Community Walk.
The walk will be led by Chris “5” Dantzler and will begin at 8 a.m. The route is approximately one mile.
Organizers said participants do not have to complete the entire mile to take part. People can walk as much as they would like or simply gather at Porter Park to support the community.
“You don’t have to walk the entire mile to participate! Walk as much as you’d like or simply join us as everyone makes their way back to Porter Park. The important thing is being there and being part of the community.”
The event is open to anyone who wants to come out, get moving and spend time with others in the community.
