DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — New Hope Community Garden will host “Light In The Garden,” a suicide prevention and remembrance gathering, Sunday, Sept. 27.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 103 Railroad Ave. in Dothan.
Organizers say the gathering is meant to remember those who have been lost, support people who are struggling and recognize those who have survived difficult times.
“We gather to remember the people we’ve lost, stand with the people who are struggling, celebrate the people who stayed and remind each other that nobody has to carry the burden alone,” the event flyer states.
Refreshments will be served.
