TROY, Ala. (WDNews) — A Troy man has died from injuries suffered in a multi-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle earlier this month.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash happened around 3:49 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, on U.S. 231 near the 174 mile marker, about one mile southeast of Troy in Pike County.
ALEA said Ronald E. Bradley, 57, of Troy, was a passenger in a 2026 Nissan Kicks driven by Sandra K. Bradley, 72, of Brundidge.
The Nissan was struck by a 2016 Chrysler 200 driven by Quandarrian T. Brooks, 19, of Louisville. After the initial collision, the Chrysler then collided with a 2025 Freightliner Thomas C2 bus driven by Ronnie W. Adams, 72, of Troy.
Ronald Bradley was critically injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. According to ALEA, he died from his injuries around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Brooks, who ALEA said was not wearing a seat belt, was also injured and taken to Troy Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
