DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — City Hope is asking the Wiregrass community to help make Christmas brighter for children in foster care in Houston and Henry counties.
According to City Hope, some children may spend Christmas in a new home and around new faces this year. The organization is working to make sure those children still have gifts and a special Christmas.
Community members can help by sponsoring a child and purchasing Christmas gifts. Monetary donations are also being accepted to help provide gifts for additional children.
Businesses, churches, families and individuals can also become Christmas sponsors and partner with City Hope.
“Whether you sponsor one child, give $10, or simply share our post, you are helping create a Christmas filled with HOPE,” City Hope stated.
Those interested in helping are encouraged to contact City Hope directly for information on sponsoring a child, donating or becoming a Christmas sponsor.
“Let’s come together and show children in foster care that their community sees them, loves them, and believes they matter,” the organization stated.
