ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — An Enterprise athlete has been recognized for representing Alabama in a national competition.
According to the City of Enterprise, Mayor William E. Cooper recognized Trevor Roen during Tuesday night’s Enterprise City Council meeting for representing the city and state at the inaugural Freedom 250 Patriot Games 2026.
Roen was selected as Alabama’s Male Athlete Representative and competed alongside young athletes from across the country.
The national competition tested participants’ athletic ability, leadership, teamwork and resilience while celebrating America250.
“We are proud of Trevor for embracing this incredible opportunity and representing Enterprise and Alabama with such confidence and determination. Congratulations, Trevor!” the city said.
