ALABAMA (WDNews) — A massive alligator was harvested in Alabama’s West Central Alligator Management Area.
According to the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division, Blake Dendy and his crew harvested the alligator, which measured 13 feet and weighed 560 pounds.
“Congrats to Blake Dendy and crew who harvested this 13’ 560lb gator from the West Central alligator management area while you slept last night,” the agency said.
Alabama’s alligator hunts are regulated, with a limited number of possession tags available for designated hunting areas across the state.
