COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDNews) — A Brundidge man was killed early Saturday after the ATV he was driving struck a deer in Coffee County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 1:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15.
ALEA said Joshua P. Roberts, 41, was driving a 2013 Yamaha Grizzly 700 ATV when it struck a deer. Roberts was thrown from the ATV and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened on Coffee County 111 near Coffee County 100, approximately 15 miles north of Enterprise.
No additional information is available at this time.
According to ALEA, troopers with the agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
