TROY, Ala. (WDNews) — The Pike County Cattlemen’s Association is inviting the community to the 34th Annual Pike County Cattlemen Rodeo on Aug. 21 and 22 at Cattleman Park in Troy.
The two-night event will feature rodeo action, family-friendly entertainment and a Western festival.
On Friday, Aug. 21, the gates will open at 5 p.m., with the rodeo beginning at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 22, the gates will open at 4 p.m. The Western Festival will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the rodeo at 7:30 p.m.
Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at several local locations, including:
- Troy Bank & Trust Main Branch
- Don Walker’s
- Banks Buy Rite
- Piggy Wiggly in Brundidge
Tickets purchased at the gate will cost $20. Children 12 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult.
The annual rodeo serves as one of Pike County’s longtime community traditions, bringing together families for two evenings of professional rodeo events while supporting the Pike County Cattlemen’s Association.
