DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Dothan City Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the Dothan City Board of Education, 1665 Honeysuckle Road, Suite 1, in Dothan.
According to Dothan City Schools, the board is expected to review routine monthly reports and routine personnel recommendations during the meeting. Board members are also scheduled to vote on a proposal to censure a member of the school board.
Regular school board meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the board’s administrative offices unless otherwise announced. School board work sessions are also generally scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
School officials noted that meeting dates and times may occasionally change because of holidays or scheduling conflicts. Special meetings may also be called when needed.
Meeting announcements are shared through local media and on the Dothan City Schools website. Agendas are available through the district’s SIMBLI portal before meetings.
