DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDNews) — Community members will have an opportunity to pick up free clothing during the Pursewaysion 712 Community Clothing Giveaway on Saturday, Aug. 8, in Daleville.
The event will take place from noon until 2 p.m. at Pursewaysion 712, 210 Donnell Boulevard.
Organizers say the giveaway is open to everyone and will feature clothing in all sizes and styles, all available at no cost. The event is designed to help individuals and families prepare for a new season while giving back to the community.
Children attending the event will receive free hot dogs while supplies last.
Those who would like to purchase lunch will also have the opportunity to do so, as 504 Food2Geaux will be on site during the event.
The event’s theme, “New Season. New Beginnings. New You!”, reflects the organization’s goal of helping community members leave feeling encouraged and empowered.
