DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Five Star Breaktime Solutions celebrated the opening of its new, expanded Dothan distribution facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a new chapter of growth for the company in the Wiregrass.
The company relocated to a larger, 20,000-square-foot branch office and distribution center after outgrowing its original Dothan location. In just over five years serving the area, Five Star said its local customer base has tripled, driving the need for additional space and improved operations.
The new facility features double the warehouse space, expanded office areas, a catering kitchen, an upgraded employee breakroom, and enhanced logistics capabilities designed to improve efficiency and support future growth.
“This move reflects the strong relationships we’ve built within the Wiregrass community and the continued trust our customers place in us,” said Five Star Sales Director Katie Pilcher. “As our business grows, it is important that our facilities grow with it so we can continue delivering the high level of service our partners expect.”
Company officials said the expanded location will allow Five Star to better serve existing customers while creating opportunities to grow its services throughout the region.
As part of the ribbon-cutting celebration, Five Star representatives presented a $5,000 donation to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank through the company’s Feeding the Future Foundation. The donation will help provide thousands of meals to local families and children facing food insecurity.
