MIDLAND CITY, Ala. — According to multiple reports, a Midland City Police Officer, Stewart Smith Anderson has been placed on paid administrative leave following a recent arrest.
According to authorities, 34 year old Stewart Smith Anderson is accused of hitting a woman and damaging property during a recent incident over the weekend on Sunday night. Anderson is charged with two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence.
Houston County Jail records do show Anderson was booked on July 26 and released from custody the following day.
Midland City Police Chief Keith Gray has confirmed Anderson has been placed on paid administrative leave while the criminal case is pending.
