REHOBETH, Ala. (WDNews) — Community members are invited to attend the Grand Reveal of Rehobeth Town Center on Tuesday, July 28, for a first look at the vision for what is planned to become the town’s first commercial development.
The free event will be held at Rehobeth Town Hall, 221 Malvern Road. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with a presentation beginning at 6 p.m. Property tours will follow at 6:15 p.m.
The development is centered around the theme, “Rooted in Our Past. Built for Our Future.” Organizers say the project is designed to create a central gathering place while bringing new shopping, dining and community opportunities to Rehobeth.
Plans for the Town Center include retail shopping, a grocery store, a town hall, a playground, a water feature and green space where residents can gather. The development team also plans to meet with individuals interested in opening businesses, developing real estate or bringing products and services to the community.
Co-developer Adam Thomas said the goal is to create a place that reflects the character of Rehobeth while serving local families for years to come.
“This is about giving Rehobeth a center of gravity — a place where neighbors can shop, eat, and gather that reflects the character of this community,” Thomas said. “We’ve worked to make sure this project is rooted in what makes Rehobeth special, while building something that serves families here for generations.”
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to view architectural renderings, hear from the development team and tour the property.
Organizers encourage families, residents and anyone interested in the future of Rehobeth to attend. The event is independently organized by the Rehobeth Town Center development team and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Town of Rehobeth.
